This is not the band fee...this is the participation fee that goes to the District Office.

Please check the list posted on Mr. Sewell's office door and talk to Mr. Sewell or
Mr. Stowe if your name is listed.
Fees or partial fee payment arrangement HAS TO BE MADE BY FIRST FOOTBALL GAME OR NO PARTICIPATION BY YOUR STUDENT!
The Athletic Office at Central can take payments or you can pay your fee at the treasurer's office at the District Office by cash, check, money order or credit card.

TAG DAY SAT August 9th
Tag Day is this Saturday, August 9th. Please report to the PHS CENTRAL
Performing Arts Center by 8:30 am. The dress for the day is summer band
shirt and jeans/jeans shorts. WATCH THE LENGTH…if you think they are
too short…they are. We are representing both band programs in the community and
YES…your appearance can make a differenceJ The day will run no later than 2:30 pm.
Please count on being available for this day. We need a WRITTEN/EMAIL excuse
for this event. Not showing up is not an option…PLEASE…This is our largest
fund raiser of the year and we need everyone in attandance with GREAT Tiger
attitudes! An idea from past years….think up some cheers, jingles, or something unique
your group can do when people answer their doors…creativity gets their attention..
and as always…use good tasteJ Mrs. Sewell and I are counting on you!!!
CAR WASHES Yes….they are beginning!!!!
We kick off our 4 car washes THIS SATURDAY! A busy day…there may be some over

Dear Tiger Band Family,
Hope you have all taken advantage of our "after band camp" break to relax, recharge, and of course...practice! I wanted to address 3 topics before band rehearsal on Tuesday.
1. I am very sad to report the sudden death of long time Marching Tiger fan, fund-raiser, and devoted grandfather..Steve Roth. Mr. Roth was 2013 graduate Laura Roth's grandfather and a very special member of the Tiger Band Family. He and his wife Mary dedicated countless hours to the band, chairing Tag Day for several years, working as the go between with McDonald's and the band for our Ronald McDonald service projects, securing prizes for Breakfast with Santa and the Memorial Day Concert....the list goes on...
My thanks to the Leadership students who helped us send Mr. Roth out with a Tiger Band Salute of Amazing Grace at his funeral service last Friday. The family was deeply appreciative and I urge you to keep them all in your thoughts and prayers.
